Turbo Ultra Seko Spanplattenschraube Edelstahl A2 4x40mm 200 Stk. wurde bewertet mit 3.6 von 5 von 12.
Rated 5 von 5 von aus Consistent performance Bought these to fix hardwood deck boards to support frame using impact driver. Chosen to not rust/oxidise over time and compliment the colour and tone of the wood. So far I have used about 500 or so of these, only one head has sheared off and only a handful have bent, these were due to hard knots. Good rifling hence doesn't require piloting, immediate bite, countersinking is good. Good grab and fixing. If using near an edge and using a power/impact driver - reduce the torque and or speed to reduce chance of splitting. Overall very consistent performance

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Warning Be aware that stainless steel is significantly weaker than normal steel screws. I was relying on 'Turbo' screws because they have been 100% reliable in the past. I had a project which entailed screwing down sheets of material and then removing the screws before final fixing. The heads started coming off with a torque setting which was the same as my hand torque. I found that I could strip heads of by hand (I am not a strong professional tradesman!). This put my project back by at least half a day. Had to use 'proper' s/s screws with decent shank from elsewhere.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus useful if used with caution I use these all the time now whenever I'm fixing something that is exposed to the elements. I have recently had to replace all of my fencing and these came in very handy as I know I do not have to worry about them rusting.. My neighbor was so impressed with them that he is also bought several packets. It is also handy that they do not split the wood like a conventional screw. (They are very sharp). One word of warning though, especially using an electric screwdriver, you have to be careful how much you tighten them as they are not as strong as a standard steel screw.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus brilliant but handle with care no need to pilot on softwoods and will never rust. Make sure you check you torque setting as the screw heads will shear if you use too much grunt.

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Good rust resistance but... I have returned to an exterior job 3 years later and found these screws without corrosion. However they are brittle in use and without a pilot hole they can snap surprisingly easy. They don't take repeated fixing/re fixing without breaking which can be very irritating. I have found this problem in most sizes. I use turbo gold in preference except in exposed exterior fixings

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Rubbish snapped heads Bought these to fix an Oak handrail to a internal wall plate. After pilot drilling 3mm hole 5 out of 8 screws the heads have snapped of. Complete waste of time!! Offered a refund & technical guy says looks like a product fault!! Shame now as all the other decent suppliers are closed till monday Aghhhh!!

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Weak screws that shear Around one third of the screws in the box I had sheared on moderate force driving into plywood after pre-drilling holes. I'd strongly advise avoiding these for all but the lightest tasks in materials that are not important

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Stainless is soft Stainless is soft and the driver bits will cam out easily wthout adequate pressure, the impact drivers help. These screws are not cheap but you can hold your head up and say "I DID IT RIGHT".
