Turbo Ultra Seko Edelstahl A2 5x100mm 100St. wurde bewertet mit 2.4 von 5 von 5.
Rated 2 von 5 von aus OK, but be careful! I found these screws, including shorter versions, prone to snapping in older harder wood in which I had previously drilled pilots. This is frustrating as they snapped at the start of the thread which by then was just below the surface of the wood so can't be withdrawn - means repositioning and redrilling. I still found them snapping even when lubricated. As a long-term DIY-er I regard this as an ongoing feature of stainless steel. But when they're finally in they'll be ideal for anything the climate throws at them!

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Shocking! Expensive item that just does not deliver. Bends easily, sheers off after thread, usually when 60% inserted so a nightmare to remove. I've used about 30 or so out of the box and have 5 break, another 5 bend and others simply round off the prodrive recess. All in all, rubbish!

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Perfect weather resistance Great for what they are designed for but this grade of stainless steel is a little soft compared to a plated steel screw. This means you just need to be a little more careful - easier to snap off a head or damage the posi-drive socket when driving without pilot holes.

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Not fit for purpose Had a 20% fail rate either bending or shearing, the only way I could use with 2 old 9 inch joists screwed together was by spraying with wd40 first.pay more and use spax screws-the rolls Royce,....-go in v easy

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Good general purpose woodscrew I've used these screws on a couple of projects including a mono pitched roof and a loft hatch installation. I like these screws. They drive easily with both cordless drill or impact driver and have good pull in and self countersinking. The plain shank is reduced diameter from the thread so reduces friction. I note some comments by other reviews where they have stated that the screws shear above the thread. I've only experienced this when I've had the misfortune to drive the screw into a knot but when using long screws like these, I normally pilot drill the holes first anyway. The thing I like about these screws is that they have a large driver head (Pozi No:3). This give a good grip and this is a point over Spax equivalent which often have Smaller size drives for same size screws. Just to test the shear strength of these screws, I drove one through a piece of CLS 4x2 and the scew pulled itself through until it ran out of thread. The head countersunk itself into the timber to a depth of around 3 inches. I know CLS isn't that hard but these screws don't exactly shear like chocolate either.
