Timbadeck Terrassenbauschraube A2 4,5 x 65 mm 100 St. wurde bewertet mit 3.8 von 5 von 26.
Rated 4 von 5 von aus Functional over exceptional Got these as my (cheaper) online supplier couldn't get them out in time. Typically the local branches appear to hold 1 maybe 2 boxes each (very useful) so had to click and collect on 24hr. A bit pointless to hold such a small stock but hey ho.... The screws themselves went in fine with an impact driver, wouldn't want to do it with a standard drill driver or with longer screws (such as the review for the 85mm version). No twist outs, no snapped screws and no rounded heads. Did pilot the ends of the boards as a precaution. Would have opted for the Fischer torx head stainless screws, but only in packs of 250 and needed 300 so not worth it.

Rated 2 von 5 von aus Too fragile and inconsistent Good value for Stainless Steel, but: * Quality control is poor - I found several screws with bent shanks * I know SS is soft - but these are very fragile. I only had a 3mm bit to hand for the pilot holes but was using very soft wood (cedar). About 10% of the screws broke off at the head. * If you use these - then drill a full length 3.5mm pilot hole, Make sure you drive them straight and never try to re-use a screw that you have just unscrewed. They break about twice as often if you try to tighten them twice. Would not buy again.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus worth the cost Got these screws a number of years ago for my decking. When relaying it this year, these screws are just like new. They went in shiney and sharp and they came out shiney and sharp. Ive reused them and bought some more for the additional work ive got to do. Cross head is good and strong, doesnt round off if you use the correct bit. Although it suggests pre drilling the pilot hole, i just screw straight through the decking without any issue's .

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Dont Bother Always, always, drill a full-depth pilot hole and never hit a knot and you should find these acceptable. Fail to drill a pilot hole and/or hit a knot or similar and these screws will shear off on the plain shank above the thread. The material is very soft and I would not buy these again.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Stainless Steel Decking Screws Really good value for stainless. At this price why bother with carbon steel? I don't know what some other people are doing with these but out of a pack of 500 I only had 2 failures, and I think that was because they met some noggin screws. If you drill pilot holes, like you should, and use a driver with a torque limit, you shouldn't have any problems.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus timbadeck 4.5 x 65mm s/s screw having to replace some decking boards and struggling to get the existing rusty screws out I turned to these. They are plenty long enough to hold down the 28mm decking boards and were a dream to use. They penetrated the wood and ran in true with a positive grip, and of course they will never Rust. VERY PLEASED.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Good Stainless decking screws These screws are unforgiving if you lose control. Stainless steel softens quickly and then work hardens at which point the bit just uselessly rotates. The trick is to start slowly, steadily and don’t stop. And maintain drive from above the screw head - if you’re at any angle you’ll rip the pz2 seat. If the bit starts to slip just stop and get a decent set of pliers and get it out. I’ve tried a few stainless screws and these are as good as it gets. The huge advantage of SS is 5 years down the road when you’re not looking at rusted screws..

Rated 3 von 5 von aus OK if you are careful On the plus side, they are stainless, so no rust, and they drive happily through 34mm decking with no pilot hole. That's important when you are putting several hundred screws into decking. However, the cross head is shallow, so my bit keeps slipping unless I push down really hard. And in the first 100 screws, 3 of them bent as I tried to power them in. Never had that happen on a screw before! The screws that I got from the specialist fencing supplier were slightly more expensive, but better in all respects.
