Rated 3 von 5 von aus Mortar Rake Slow going, but then again my mortar is VERY hard, real man's mortar! Probably works best on soft crumbly material, or possibly old lime mortar. At least it didn't break like some reviewer's examples, but in places the carbide material has worn away. Only advice I can give is to read manufacturer's instructions re: only use for 5 mins then stop.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Star mortar rake Very very good piece of kit if used properly This item save me so much time in sheeting up and clearing up compared to using a grinder based mortar rake blade The m14 thread unfortunately wasn’t compatible with my Makita LXT grinder so an old coach bolt cut down and placed in a drill was the way for me Again I would say this is a very good quality tool to have in your box if you read the instructions !!! as it states use for 5 mins leave to cool for 5 mins This stops the tool overheating and snapping etc

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Mortar Rake Use these all the time when checking for blocked wall cavities and fitted air bricks. Great for grinding out brick mortar to remove bricks. Only negative is its just shorter than the width of a brick so doesn't grind out all the mortar. Good tool to have in the box

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Good bit of kit Bought this to rake out some lime mortar, did a good job and much easier and safer than a grinding disc! And also doesn't damage face of bricks if you do have an inevitable slip! Does wear out fairly quick (have used three on one side of a house) so not the cheapest way to do it but certainly quick!

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Mortor rake 8 x 100mm I bought this to chop out a row of bricks so i could fit a cavity tray, The instructions said to drill a 10mm hole and insert the rake into the hole, I found it a bit slow so i ended up drilling a series of holes along the mortor and then found the tool cleared out the remaining mortor. It also doesn't quite reach to the back of the brick so had to chop out the rest of the mortor by hand. On the plus side it causes less dust than an angle grinder which saves time on clearing up at the end of the job.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Mortar Rake I have bought the smaller version of this in the past for chasing in lead flashing, what a dream that tool was and this longer version is equally as good. Yes you do have to take your time but the rake does clean out the joints without lots of hammering. Many thanks,

Rated 3 von 5 von aus 100mm? Not quite! These mortar rakes might be the best things since sliced bread - the other reviews seem quite favourable, but beware that the business end of the rake is nowhere near 100mm - it's 65mm max - which makes me wonder what the point of it is? Too deep for repointing and not deep enough to tooth out a brick (which is what I was planning on doing with it)

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Mortar Rake Easy to use, makes lite work, and keeps dust to a minimum. Recommend product.
