Rated 5 von 5 von aus Great product I bought this along with the hole guide and I’ll never look back, it just made life so so easy. Very good drill bit 8 holes in on 10mm ceramic tiles and still going strong ready for the next job

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Excellent product I bought this drill bit to cut holes in 10mm porcelain tiles and wasn't sure how it would perform as the last time I used a diamond core drill bit from another supplier it lasted for less than two holes before it was useless. This one however has been a dream to use. No water needed like the last one and I've cut 4 holes and it looks almost as good as when it came out of the packaging.

Rated 3 von 5 von aus SO GOOD I BOUGHT IT TWICE This is a great bit if you accept it will only drill a limited number of holes before you need a replacement. Bought the first one last year to fit 12 x 30mm LED lights in the bathroom tiles at home. Tried the same thing this year while fitting tiles in another bathroom with the same bit, but started breaking every tile after 4 successful cuts. Examined the bit and noticed that it was wore down/ glazed on one side. Bought a replacement and it cut 6 tiles in a row without breaking any. I used a block of wood with a 30mm diameter hole cut out as a guide, clamped (not too tightly!) on to a workmate tool bench. A great cutter, but, in my experience, don't expect any more than 20 holes per bit.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Good when used wet Had to take the first one back as i used it dry as per the package instructions, and it went blunt after cutting one hole. Other reviews for the smaller sizes mentioned this but not for this size so wasn't aware. Screwfix exchanged it swiftly (thank you to Ringwood branch - always great service) and the exchanged one did 4 holes straight off when kept cool with water. The first was rubbish on second holes and cracked tiles (I assume through the heat) so would recommend this product but use wet. It is pricey but cut through thick ceramic floor tiles in a few minutes per hole. Have scored 1 for reliability as I can't comment after 1 day of use. Why are we asked this just after purchase?

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Brilliant drill bit Had to buy this item as I was going through tile drill bits and masonry bits quicker than I could change them trying to go through thick porcelain tiles, bought this and within 5 min both holes were drilled, nice and clean and the bit is ready to go again. I did buy the hole guide as the bit if prone to slipping without it, never the less brilliant product. All the staff in my local branch(altrincham) are brilliant and easy to deal with.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Decent cutter Used to cut holes for pipe work, cut tiles easily. Good finish to hole, no skidding off of the glaze when started at a lowiish speed.

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Not the best drill ever Drilling porcelain tiles which the screwfix titan cutter cuts easily, it went blunt after 1.5 holes. The no-name equivalent (which you use wet, not dry) finished the job easily. Go for the no-name for 4.99- this isn't useful for porcelain at least- might be ok on softer stuff.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Great on porcelain Didn't realise how hard porcelain tiles were! Having totally re done the bathroom and contemplating fitting everything back in the number of holes needing to be drilled stacks up. This drill bit has far out shone others I bought. It didn't skid around on the surface like some others when started in slow speed and angling v slightly upwards to get a key in before then going straight. It cut through the tiles very easily relatively quickly without overheating.
