Rated 3 von 5 von aus Only Bought As No Dewalt 13mm Much prefer the DeWalt Extreme range as far more solid and leave a much cleaner finish. Product claims to leave a clean entry hole. Lol. Far from it. Left splintered wood everywhere. Luckily it was needed for a project where I needed to rebate a wider area after the hole was drilled and so could clean it up. Also. The bit has a self drive screw tip which repeatedly caused the bit to get firmly stuck in the workpiece and I needed to swap to a corded Bosch drill to get it back out as the 18v Makita couldn't draw it back out. This was drilling into a piece of clear pine. Not impressed at all. Would take it back if I felt the store wouldn't think I was trying to con them. Dave

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Very Poor Design The thread on this tool pulls it into the work with so much force that it leaves an extremely poor finish. This tool is impossible to control and should never be used on finished surfaces, it will destroy them. Maybe ok for putting holes in stud work but thats about it. Luckily I tested it before use and it ended up going straight in the bin. Also because it grabs at the wood it could be extremely dangerous if the work is not properly held down.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Better than most spade bits This makes drilling holes a doddle. It is fast, relatively clean and, because of the screw tip, requires very little force to use. Some people have stated that this is a poor bit because of its aggressive cutting, however this is designed for 1st fix drilling and is not a cabinet makers tool. If you want a clean cut then use either a plain spade bit or a Forstner bit. However, if you want to drill a lot of holes through joists as quickly as possible then this is the perfect tool for the job.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus New type flat wood drill I have been trying to replace a 13mm flat wood drill for several months and it has proved to be an unusual size. The new self feed style seems to work exceptionally well - quick in use: does what drills are supposed to do - it makes holes in wood!

Rated 2 von 5 von aus Satisfactory The threaded start is really good and pulls the bit through timber but the cleanness of the start and the end is very poor it was rough and split out

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Bosch drill Not keen on this one. The self feeding feature is a right pain. Also leaves a jagged edges.
