Turbo Gold Seko Spannplattenschraube 5x60mm 100 Stk. wurde bewertet mit 4.8 von 5 von 31.
Rated 3 von 5 von aus Good for permanent fixing only Screws went into redwood gate post really easily, aided by pilot holes and a bit of moly grease. Trouble was when I tried to remove the gate ... all the screws I tried to take out sheared. I stopped at four, otherwise I would have had to buy another gate post. Obviously the gripping strength is far stronger than the metal's yield strength! If you are at all likely to have to remove the fixture, I would suggest a less aggressive screw.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Worth the extra. A pretty good screw, if you don't abuse them, probably the best screwfix sell. The heads can snap off at inopportune moments and they don't like powerful impact drivers. They can snap half way down if longer screws are going into hardwood, again only with a big impact driver. If they're put in on an angle to provide more grip when securing a metal plate, you're almost guaranteed to snap a head off when you pull it up tight. Obvious I know, but still annoying, especially when it happens on a job that matters. The cheep screws are more able to cope with such abuse but come with other drawbacks. These screws seldom need a pilot hole and are easy to drive and don't need a fancy bit to use them. I always used the silver line then tried these, despite the odd failure, these are worth the extra money if you play by the rules.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus QUALITY OUTDOOR SCREWS! Bought these to fix Post Buddies to fence so needed to be strong & non corrosive. No need to start hole, screw in easily but firmly. Well impressed with screw head that doesn't disintigrate when driver slips.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Performance screws These perform pretty well. They went in to the wood with no problem and did not split the wood even without pre-drilling. Long-term durability is difficult to tell, but seem well protected against corrosion.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Quality screws BITE AND SCREW INTO SOFTWOODS VERY EFFICIENTLY WITHOUT SPLITTING THE WOOD, EVEN CLOSE TO THE EDGE. CAREFUL IF YOU USE AN IMPACT DRIVER, ONCE THE SCREW STARTS TO TIGHTEN THE HEAD HAS A TENDENCY TO SHEAR OFF.
