Rated 5 von 5 von aus A cut above I needed to cut 2 door holes in a plastered block wall and found this blade in your catalogue with good reviews and wanted to buy 2 as one review suggested it blunted after cutting 1 hole. Only 1 was in stock so that had to do and do it did admirably. It gave good clean straight cuts with minimal dust and mess and saved hours of work and clearing up compared to some of the alternatives;- a hammer and chisel or a disc cutter. I used it on lightweight blocks and it still has life in it, obviously other materials will behave differently but I would give this a try on other materials as well.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Careful about what you cut Have had mixed results with these blades. Have successfully cut soft brick with them but cinder block destroys the blade after a few minutes. It was more economical and quicker to perforate the cinder block with a drill. Same as cutting wood with a long blade, the cut through the wall may not remain perpendicular, so don't expect a perfect right angled cut. For that reason I tend to put in some intermediate drill holes to keep the cut straight. With soft material you still get a lot of dust, be prepared for that. Better than a grinder but still needs dust protection for yourself and the surroundings.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Good but does not like mortar Cut well through 5 in air blocks cutting hole for door but mortar blunted blade by the end. Works well but might need one per job.

Rated 1 von 5 von aus Expensive rubbish I needed to cut a window hole into a single skin standard LBC brick wall, the blade blunted after two courses and two mortar courses. I will be looking for a credit or refund...
